Whole Event Pass for 2024 SFR

The Whole Event Pass covers entry and participation in all activities as well as camping for 4 nights, Friday 6/7 through Monday 6/10 and meals for Friday evening through Tuesday morning. Checkout is Tuesday 6/11 at noon. Additional nights camping is available on Thursday 6/6 and Tuesday 6/11 for $20 more per person per night. Children under 13 are free.
Price will be $255 after April 1, 2024.
1 Day and 1 Night Camping Pass for 2024 SFR

The 1 Day and 1 Night Pass covers entry and participation in all activities for any one day (Sat 6/8, Sun 6/9 or Mon 6/10) and 1 night camping. Price includes meals for the full day. If you wish to stay an additional day for events, please also purchase a day pass. Children 13 and under are free.
Price will be $65 online after April 1, 2024 or $70 at the door.
NEW Mushroom Festival Donation/Sponsorship

If you would like to volunteer for the Northeast Washington Mushroom Festival, please contact Kelly at [email protected]. We are looking for donations for the raffle as well as help in areas of mushroom expertise, photography/film, children's activities, setup & cleanup, and many other areas.
If you would like to sponsor this event, please send your logo or name as you would like it to appear. Please also send an overview of what you want us to say about you or business. Sponsorship closes April 20, 2024.

In Kind Sponsorship – Your name or logo appears on advertising materials
$100 Sponsorship - Your logo or your name appears on advertising materials and is mentioned at least once during the event. One person from your business gets a pass for either the mushroom foray or the culinary contest.
$200 Sponsorship - Your logo will be larger on advertising materials and you receive two passes for mushroom foray and/or culinary contest. We will also mention your business at least twice during the event and give an overview of where to find your business and a few sentences on what you do. We post your logo on the Inland Northwest Permaculture Guild’s website for one year.
$400 Sponsorship -Your logo will appear at the top of advertising materials and you receive two passes for the mushroom foray and/or culinary contest, a free vending pass and two event t-shirts, your choice of size. You will be mentioned four times throughout the event and give an overview of where to find your business and a few sentences on what you do. We post your logo on the Inland Northwest Permaculture Guild’s website for one year as a top sponsor.

ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION FOR CONTESTS ENDED AT 11:59 ON 5/9/24. REGISTER FOR THE CONTESTS AT THE GATE ON 5/11/24.
The Mushroom Foray and Mushroom Culinary Contest entry fees are both $10* per adult and $5* per child if you register before 5/10/24 or $20 per adult and $10 per child at the time of the event on 5/11.
*Online registration includes a $1.50 processing fee.
There are 2 competitions for the Mushroom Foray Contest: Mushroom Variety and Morel Mushroom contest which judges in 4 categories: Men, Women, Youth 3-11, Youth 12-17. Foray Contestants
Age 18+ Foray and Variety contest winners receive: $50 (1st), $30 (2nd) & $20 (3rd). Youth prizes TBA
- The Morel Mushroom contest will judge Height + Width = winner (ie: 4” tall + 3” wide = 7”). Stem is counted but only with no mycelium or roots connected; they must be cut clean. Use ONLY baskets and bags that let spores back into environment.
- The Mushroom Variety contest gives a prize to the person who finds the largest quantity of different types of mushrooms during the mushroom foray. Mushrooms in this contest will be displayed for identification during the festival. If the mushrooms cannot be identified, they cannot be entered in the contest. We suggest keeping your mushrooms in a container that will keep them intact during transportation for best identification.
At 9:30am, all mushroom contest participants will get a Mushroom Foray contest debriefing and review of guidelines. Maps for the mushroom foray hunt will be issued at this time. There are options of walking to places around town or driving to further locations. Contestants are encouraged to carpool and can self-assemble this at this time.
At 10:00am, contest participants leave for the mushroom foray hunt and return to the park by 2:00pm to enter their mushrooms into the contest; no exceptions. Any foul play like bringing in mushrooms not picked that day will result in immediate disqualification.
- The Mushroom Culinary Contest is open for taste-testing from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. (Entry fee $10 online/$20 door) Chefs can bring ready dishes or prepare them anytime after 10:00am. All culinary entries must list ingredients for tasters. Please use organic/non-gmo ingredients to accommodate most diets. If you wish to be in both the foray and the culinary contest, please have your dish available for the taste-testing by 2:00pm. Please make small portions for 50+ people to sample and supply your own cups/utensils for taste-testing. Winner receives $50, a culinary basket and free entry for next year’s culinary contest. Participants may bring a helper and is responsible for meeting food safety requirements.
- 40 taste tester positions are open to the public for $10 per person the day of the event.

Online Vending registration is now closed. There will be a limited number of vending spots available the day of the festival. Spaces are $30 at the gate.
VENDING/TRADING AVAILABLE FROM 10AM – 8PM:
Vendors may arrive between 7:30am - 8:30am to set up. Festival kicks off at 9:00 with contest registration and foray briefing and the festival begins at 10am.
Vending is $25* for a 12x12’ space if you register before 4/20 or $30* after 4/20/24.

Food and drink vendors spots have been filled. Food vendors are welcome and are responsible for meeting all required food safety requirements.
Please pack in and pack out all your personal property and keep products and space family friendly.
