The location of the Sasquatch Family Reunion is on sacred and historic ground in Kettle Falls, WA. Indian tribes from miles around would travel to the sacred land at the falls to harvest enough salmon to last the entire year. People and tribes would gather peacefully, trade and fish side by side, even those at war with each other. Paleo-Indian cultures gathered here for the last 10,000+ years. The Salish speakers called it Shonitkwu, meaning roaring or noisy waters. Unfortunately, the construction of the Grand Coulee Dam put an end to the salmon runs in 1942. More information at

This gathering is inspired and guided by Sasquatch Elders as well as many other Star Elders and Light Beings. The first Spiritual and Psychic Sasquatch Conference took place on September 17, 2016 coinciding with the meeting of SunBow TrueBrother and the collaboration in publishing the first book of The Sasquatch Message to Humanity series.
Over 150 people from several countries throughout the world attended this first great event and it continues to grow every year. The gathering evolved from a conference into a 4-day retreat including multiple workshops, presentations, music and sharing circles, ceremonies, rituals and more.
Kelly Rainbow Butterfly's connection with SunBow and the transmission and publication of The Sasquatch Message to Humanity books and other great works also align with this great annual gathering. In 2016, The Sasquatch Message to Humanity Book 1 by SunBow was published, in 2017, The Sasquatch Message to Humanity Book 2 by SunBow was published, in 2018, The Sasquatch Message to Humanity Book 1 by Kelly Butterfly (Lapseritis) with 9 other authors was published, and in 2019, Hairy Humanoids from the Wild by SunBow was published and in 2020, Contemporary Shamanic Journeys by SunBow was published. It seems each year, more wisdom is imparted to be shared at the gathering and to take to share with the rest of the world as well.

Due to the pandemic, the location of the first four events, the Chewelah Peak Learning Center, was unavailable to host gatherings. The coalition decided to host it in a safe, healthy, legal and honorable way, immersed in nature and with the help of recreational facility and park rangers to ensure the highest and best experience for all.
The overwhelming positive response that we have received from most guests is that something happened at this event that they have deemed as life-changing. Most return every year after their first visit. This event is hosted by the Children of Earth Coalition, an organization founded by Kelly Rainbow Butterfly (Lapseritis) and it is a co-creation with all the souls and energies that contribute to this great gathering in every way. We appreciate all the love, support, donations, assistance, and presence that is offered throughout these events. The rainbow tribe gathers here with their great wisdom, cultural diversities, helping hands, community efforts, and overflowing love for one another. You are the reason this event is so amazing and you are the reason we continue to have them.
