THE 2021 SASQUATCH FAMILY REUNION CAMPOUT WAS MAY 27-31, 2021
The Sasquatch Family Reunion, formally known as the Psychic Sasquatch Spiritual Retreat, has gone through many transitions in 2020 and 2021 as the world and all of us have experienced many changes as well. In 2020, the Chewelah Peak Learning Center where this event has been hosted since 2016, closed their doors permanently due to the pandemic. The Washington state governor also continuously restricted gathering sizes, so the Psychic Sasquatch Retreat was canceled and the Sasquatch Family Reunion was born. Two weeks prior to the September 2020 gathering, we were guided to still gather and to the perfect venue was presented to ensure we could meet within safe and legal guidelines. The Lake Roosevelt Recreation Area and campgrounds in Kettle Falls, Washington turned out to be the perfect gathering area for us, providing nature, water, restrooms, a sacred and historic space, and convenience to town provided an even more intimate and simple co-creative family gathering and experience for all who attended.
In addition, we have always hosted this event on Labor Day weekend at the beginning of September each year, but after the 2020 gathering, we were guided to plan the next one for late Spring 2021 at the same location. The weather is much more favorable at the end of May, not too hot and also the large benefit of being able to have campfires since they are not permitted in September. Besides the climate convenience, the sasquatch elders also explained that it is a new season, a new cycle to this gathering, allowing us to also meet more than once a year. This Memorial Day weekend, May 27th – 31st is the Sasquatch Family Reunion and the Birth of what we collectively co-created and conceived energetically last summer.
PRESENTERS/WORKSHOPS
Each morning, we will gather for a Morning Circle at the Sasquatch Circle from 9:00am-10:00am where participants meet, pray together, make announcements, have fun, and the presenters for the day share who they are and what/where/when they will be sharing their workshops for the day.
There will be three times throughout the day where workshops are offered at 3 or 4 separate locations in Loop 1. Most workshops are repeated at another time throughout the 3 day event to give everyone a chance to attend the classes they wish to take. Workshop times will be between 10:00am – 5:00pm with breaks and a meal in between. Just like every morning will have a sharing circle, every evening after dinner, there will be Music/Ceremony/Meditation circles you can join.
The speakers that are scheduled to present lectures and/or offer workshops in 2021 are:
